What is Blitz Build?
Blitz Build is an accelerated construction effort to build decent, affordable homes in a short period of time (one to three weeks). The Blitz attracts more than 100 volunteers on the jobsite each day, high media attention and camraderie as professional builders, volunteers and sponsor groups work side-by-side with partner families to build community.
Habitat-Spokane has been successfully "blitz building" since 2002, building 37 homes at an accerlated pace to increase awareness about poverty housing in our community.
The Blitz Build is open to all community volunteers, organizations, businesses, and builders willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity-Spokane through sponsorship, volunteering, and in-kind materials and professional labor.
Volunteer sign-up is also available online by clicking on the volunteer tab on the Habitat home page.
